Refinished Floor

The floor around the Tiki bar was getting sketchy:

We initially wanted to get the floor sanded and finish it ourselves, but it turned out that the floor was much prettier than we expected:

So we decided to let the floor finisher add their special epoxy finish: and it looked great

The floor finisher said we could place furniture on it in a day or so, so we waited an extra day before putting felt on the bottom of everything and bringing it into the room. Unfortunately, dry enough to place furniture is NOT the same as fully cured, so we accidentally polished grooves into the finish when dragging the furniture into place:

Which meant we had to wait for the finisher to come back and add more finish. The floor still looks good, but not as good as it did the first time.
