We haven’t had a big party in a while, so I decided we’d have a Canadian themed party around my birthday. Plans were dashed when I couldn’t get the Canadian snacks in time and that the floors had to be redone, so we postponed it until February.
We had a ton of Canadian chips, snacks, and chocolate bars. Lina made amazing butter tarts and Nanaimo bars and we got all the fixings for donairs. Then everyone brought a ton of food.
I scoured the internet for a Canadian-only hits playlist for the music, which brought back a lot of memories.
I was able to find a fresh cod, and we were able to have a screeching-in ceremony with some Screech that Paul had given us years before.
