We Joined the 3D Printing Cult!

The hype about how easy it is to print with a Bambu 3D printer is 100% accurate.

We’ve been printing like crazy since I unboxed it.

It started with a poop chute to catch filament waste (https://makerworld.com/en/models/2109962-hkr-p2s-x1c-p1-poop-chute-no-extra-hardware).

Then filament rollers/dryers for storing and using filament.

We printed some bamboo for a secret project from Lina

Then our neighbor randomly chose the frog (https://makerworld.com/en/models/236165-voronoi-tree-frog):

Jason said he wanted the Enchanted Tiki Room Drummer years ago, so I printed that one from a stl file I downloaded during the controversy. I wish we had the wood filament for that one!

Then “Everyone gets a Scrub Daddy holder with penis for water drainage” . We printed six of these to give away. The legs are printed flat, but automatically bend.

If you were thinking about joining this cult, this was probably the best $500 ever spent.

Update 2026-02-24: The printer now has a home:
