February 2026 3D Printing Adventures

Here are some of the 3D projects we printed over the last month or so:

Our fraternity has an event called the Feast of the Glowing Blowfish, so I found this model (https://makerworld.com/en/models/539713-cute-puffer-fish?from=search#profileId-457050) and modified it to be a hat:

I searched for “Makita Tool & Battery Mounts” project and found these (https://makerworld.com/en/models/50026-makita-18v-tool-battery-mount, https://makerworld.com/en/models/752574-battery-holders-bosch-makita-dewalt-milwaukee-einh, https://makerworld.com/en/models/1504055-festool-10-8v-battery-holder):

Then I printed some drill mounts(https://makerworld.com/en/models/14664-universal-cordless-drill-holder-mount-makita-dewal#profileId-71019). I ran out of filament and learned my lesson the first time. But even the half-printed ones worked with the wrong orientation:

I’ve always wanted this rag cutter, but I also thought the commercial was too expensive for what is was. It turns out someone made a 3D model of it (https://makerworld.com/en/models/1707611-ragtime-the-ultimate-rag-making-tool#profileId-1811604):

Spray paint can racks seem like a good idea. I like the single one better. (https://makerworld.com/en/models/639314-spray-paint-can-holder, https://makerworld.com/en/models/1413618-wd-40-spray-paint-or-can-holder):

I’ve always wanted to mount this Makita battery charger on the wall, but it had no mounting options and I never had time to build my own. Not a problem with a 3d printer (https://makerworld.com/en/models/1647443-strong-makita-dc18rc-charger-wallmount):

Lina wanted this mold so she could test out glazes (https://makerworld.com/en/models/2312255-robot-mould-for-ceramic-test-tiles):
