Larry at Retro Restoration (http://www.retrorestoration.com/) is finished and the Great Dale looks fantastic. The bumper (AMS Obsolete 706-337-5620) and trim (http://classictrimco.com/) are all back and look fantastic. Now it is up to Nick at Flatliner Rod Shop to put it all together (http://flatlinerrodshop.com/). Here’s the pics.
The skin is off and it looks amazing considering it is almost 50 years old. Check out the pics:
Now that we’re mechanically sound, it is time to make her look pretty again. Here’s some pictures in the middle of the surgery. She’s had surgery before and she’s got a new nose now.
We went to the 2013 Trailer Trash Bash The Starlite Classic Campground and are getting closer tot he final setup for camping. Here’s some pictures.
The front window was leaking like a sieve and we had a new window put in the front. The window guy recommended a tinted window, and I think it looks great!
My parents were in town for a couple of weeks which happened to coincide with the Rookie Roundup at the Starlight Classic Campground in Canon City, CO. We decided to go Pagosa Springs so my mother could visit her favorite place in CO and Lina also became an acolyte. Here’s a couple pictures from the Cool Pines
Lina and my parents worked tirelessly this week to redo the interior of the Great Dale. Here’s the new interior:

We kind of wanted to keep the original console that Lina and I made, but decided it would be better if it matched the new interior. The interior guys said they couldn’t make anything better, so we ripped all of the instruments our and they re-skinned it with the new interior theme. Here it is before installation.
