Christmas 2014
We had a great first Christmas in Colorado and in our new house. Here’s the spread mostly based on Alton Brown’s Re-Romancing The Bird.

We took a quick break from cleaning the old house and unpacking the new one to put up some Christmas decorations we happened to stumble upon. This will be our first Christmas in CO because we usually go to Canada. This will also be our first Christmas in the new house. We’re having a big
After almost a year of searching and 4 failed attempts, we are officially suburbanites. We purchased this house in unincorporated Jefferson County and decided to sell our urban digs rather than rent them out. Let us know if someone is looking to buy in the hottest up-and-coming neighborhood between city park and downtown. This house
I was so looking forward to this party. I made matching outfits for Chris and myself. Our first set of matching outfits. We’re officially middle-aged now. Hatchet and Carpenter Dave went too and we stayed the night in the hotel.
Today was a great day for a kinetic sculpture race. Just the right amount of people, perfect temperature, plenty of shade, water, food, and music. Chris had so much fun he wants to make one of these contraptions for next year with Theo and Mike. Even if they don’t make one, next year we’ll post

It was a perfect day with beautiful views and a moose. Good times.
Chris came home early from Burning Man to surprise me and I took him to the first annual 1950’s Tiki Ball in Boulder. We had so much fun we went to the tiki bar in Denver right after. Here’s a picture of me and a mermaid we caught by the pool.
We tried our second kit recipe, a Belgium Wheat Ale, and Lina also wanted to make a Black Gingered Ale from scratch and made our first brewing error. We switched the yeasts and we’ll if that makes a difference next week.
I read this post in our local entertainment weekly ( http://www.voiceplaces.com/cannibal-the-musical–denver-boulder-2031358-e/) and had to go see the first project that the creators of South Park created together called Cannibal! The Musical . Lina said no-way until she was shamed into going when I made a plea on Facebook looking for a companion to see this
