10th Annual Trailer Trash Bash

We finally got to the Trailer Trash Bash at the Starlite Classic Campground and it was the 10th annual one at that.  I made the kitty litter cake I always wanted to make too! All of our vintage trailer friends were there. We brought all three dogs.

Kinetic Sculpture Race 2013

Today was a great day for a kinetic sculpture race. Just the right amount of people, perfect temperature, plenty of shade, water, food, and music. Chris had so much fun he wants to make one of these contraptions for next year with Theo and Mike. Even if they don’t make one, next year we’ll post

Worst Earthquake Park Ever!

Our last day in Anchorage, I had to see Earthquake Park. I expected to see asphalt vertically jutting up several feet off the ground in places etc., etc., but no, there is nothing to see here. Just trees, bushes, and regular urban trail stuff. Bring your DEET mosquito spray too. Very disappointed in you Anchorage.

Brooklyn Museum and The Way Station, Brooklyn

On the last day of our trip to Brooklyn, we visited the Brooklyn Museum. The museum is not too large or too small, you can see almost the entire museum in one day. On our way home from the museum, we stopped by the Way Station a bar that is Dr. Who themed. To get

New York City and Brooklyn

Aw man! We just got back from Brooklyn a couple of days ago. Loved, loved, loved Brooklyn. How does a city manage to squeeze so much commercial and residential space so close together? I wish there was a pizza joint, Chinese restaurant, bakery, hardware store, pet boutique, Dr. Who-themed bar, and Caribbean grocery store within walking distance

Tequila

Chris reminded me that we didn’t have any pictures of Tequila on the blog. Here is a selection of Tequila pictures starting from Thanksgiving 2011 to March of this year. She has grown. She came home with me at about 14 pounds. She is now 23.2 pounds and still growing.
