Our Tiki space was missing some nude velvet paintings, so we jumped on a chance to buy two at auction.
They came in a roll, so:
- I had to build some stretchers,
- we had to stretch the velvet,
- I had to build some frames,
- Lina carved and stained them,
- and then we hung them next to the other nude pictures we won on a similar auction.
Once we had them in person, Lina figured that one of the “nudes” was really a monster and the boobs were just a lure for the claw.
I think they look pretty good, seeing how pretty much every stage was a first-time thing for us:
